Amer Michael Mahama Joins USL Dunkerque.

Amer Michael Mahama, son of businessman Ibrahim Mahama, has taken the next step in his football career, arriving in France to join Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque. The move follows his spell with Tema-based Nice Ibrahim Sporting Club, where he caught the attention of both club and country with his creativity and attacking flair.

At 19 years old, Amer has already made his mark on the youth international stage. He was selected for Ghana’s U-20 squad, the Black Satellites, for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Egypt.  During the tournament, he made his debut in the final group stage game against the Central African Republic, coming on in the 91st minute.

Known for his strong dribbling, vision and ability to unlock defences, Amer represents one of the promising young talents emerging from Ghana. As he embarks on his new chapter in France, many will be watching to see how he adapts to the demands of European club football and whether he can establish himself in Dunkerque’s squad.
